I'm locked out of WhatsApp on my Realme C51 and it keeps asking for a registration code I never set. How do I get back in?
That extra code is usually WhatsApp's two-step verification PIN, not your phone's lock code. On the PIN screen tap Forgot PIN and use the email address you linked to WhatsApp to reset it. If you never added an email, WhatsApp makes you wait out a 7-day timer before it lets you back in without the PIN, after which your account and chats stay intact. I switched from an old iPhone to my Realme C51 and lost my WhatsApp chats. Can I still recover them?
iPhone backups live in iCloud, which Android can't read, so the chats can't be pulled from there directly. If you still have the iPhone, the cleanest path is WhatsApp's built-in Move to Android tool: install WhatsApp on the C51, and during setup follow the on-screen Move from iPhone steps using a USB-C-to-Lightning cable. If you no longer have the iPhone and never made an Android-side Google Drive backup under the same number, the messages are unfortunately gone, since iCloud backups don't transfer to Android. My Realme C51 screen goes black during WhatsApp voice and video calls. How do I fix it?
During a call the proximity sensor near the top of the screen turns the display off when it thinks the phone is at your ear, to save power and avoid accidental touches. It can misfire if the top of the screen is dirty or a screen protector covers the sensor. Wipe the top bezel clean and remove or cut back any protector over the sensor area. The other person can't hear me on WhatsApp calls from my Realme C51, but the mic works fine in other apps. What's wrong?
When the mic works elsewhere but not in WhatsApp it's almost always a permission issue, not hardware. Go to Settings > Apps > App management > WhatsApp > Permissions and set Microphone to Allow. Then clear WhatsApp's cache from that same App management screen and restart the phone. Realme UI's aggressive battery saving freezes WhatsApp in the background, which delays notifications until you open the app. Go to Settings > Battery > App battery management (or Settings > Apps > App management > WhatsApp > Battery usage), find WhatsApp, and allow background activity / disable the power-saving restrictions. WhatsApp media is the usual culprit. Open WhatsApp Settings > Storage and data > Manage storage to find and delete large videos and forwarded files in bulk. The 'Other' category in Realme's storage view is mostly app caches and system data, which you can trim via Settings > Storage > Cleanup or Phone Manager > Cleanup. Choose how to download
On your Realme C51 you can get the official app two ways: from the Google Play Store — the easiest option, since it keeps WhatsApp updated automatically — or directly from the official website. You can download an APK file, by clicking a link “Download WhatsApp directly”.

Open WhatsApp
Launch WhatsApp from your home screen or app drawer and accept the Terms of Service to start setup.

Verify your phone number
Enter your phone number. If your Realme C51 uses dual SIM, pick the line you want WhatsApp tied to, then enter the 6-digit code it sends by SMS — it usually fills in automatically.

Restore chats and finish setup
Restore your chat history from Google Drive (use the same Google account), add your name and photo, and tap Allow for notifications so messages and calls arrive reliably.
