WhatsApp iOS-to-Android chat transfer has to be done during the initial Android setup. The WhatsApp Images folder is missing from my Xiaomi Gallery on the Redmi Note 14 Pro
WhatsApp media is now stored in Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media, and the Xiaomi Gallery won't scan it if a .nomedia file is present or media visibility is turned off. First enable WhatsApp > Settings > Chats > Media visibility (and check Media visibility per chat under the chat's contact info). Then, using a file manager, open the WhatsApp Images folder and delete any file named .nomedia if it exists. Restart the Gallery app afterward so it re-scans and the folder reappears. Launch WhatsApp from your home screen or app drawer and accept the Terms of Service to start setup.

Verify your phone number
Enter your phone number. If your Redmi Note 14 Pro uses dual SIM, pick the line you want WhatsApp tied to, then enter the 6-digit code it sends by SMS — it usually fills in automatically.

Restore chats and finish setup
Restore your chat history from Google Drive (use the same Google account), add your name and photo, and tap Allow for notifications so messages and calls arrive reliably.
