Voice messages on my Galaxy C5 Pro suddenly play through the earpiece instead of the loudspeaker. How do I fix it?
This is almost always the proximity sensor at the top of the screen being covered or dirty, which makes the phone think it's held to your ear and route audio to the earpiece. Wipe the area near the top speaker, remove any thick screen protector or case lip over it, then play the clip again. If it still routes wrong, disconnect any paired Bluetooth device, restart the phone to clear a stuck audio route, and confirm media volume is up with the volume rocker while a clip is playing. Is the Galaxy C5 Pro still worth keeping in 2026 or should I upgrade?
The C5 Pro shipped on Android 6 and topped out around Android 8, so it no longer receives Samsung security patches. Open WhatsApp
Launch WhatsApp from your home screen or app drawer and accept the Terms of Service to start setup.

Verify your phone number
Enter your phone number. If your Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro uses dual SIM, pick the line you want WhatsApp tied to, then enter the 6-digit code it sends by SMS — it usually fills in automatically.

Restore chats and finish setup
Restore your chat history from Google Drive (use the same Google account), add your name and photo, and tap Allow for notifications so messages and calls arrive reliably.
